Ingredients​

• 1kg beef (shank), cut into cubes

• 1 COOK at HOME cooking sauce for beef Casserole in tomato sauce

• 100ml olive oil (about 6 tablespoons)

• 500ml hot water (about 2 cups)

• 500g quinoa, white or colorful

• Salt

• Black pepper

• Fresh mint

Method

1. Season the beef with salt and pepper, then sauté it in olive oil over high heat until it becomes brown on all sides.

2. Add the entire COOK at HOME cooking sauce, about 2 cups of water (500ml), and mix well. Cook with a covered lid over medium heat for about 2 hours until the meat is cooked, and the sauce thickens. During cooking, check the food and add a little water if needed.

3. In a small pot, add plenty of water and salt it well.

4. Before the water boils, rinse the quinoa under running water for 1 minute using a strainer.

5. Add the quinoa to the small pot, boil for 10 to 12 minutes, and strain.

Serving suggestion

Serve the quinoa on a platter. Place the braised beef on top and sprinkle with fresh mint.
